Americans Open to Meatless Thanksgiving

According to new research from plant-based food company The Meatless Farm Co., 30 percent of Americans are willing to consider a meatless Thanksgiving meal. The top reasons Americans would consider eating less meat are personal health, weight loss, animal welfare, and the environment.

“Being mindful of how we live and eat has become a priority in today’s world and the numbers reveal a huge shift towards plant-based eating in the U.S. Small changes can have a big impact and it’s great to see that so many meat-eating Americans are taking action,” said Kasper Vesth, general manager, North America at The Meatless Farm Co., in a statement.
