Eighty-four percent of food and beverage industry leaders expect sales growth in 2020, according to the 2019 Mazars Food & Beverage Industry Outlook, reports Food Dive. The number is 6 percent less than last year.
Survey respondents reported that they think new customers, sales channels, and products will influence the growth. Though respondents are expecting less profit growth than last year (68 percent versus 84 percent), expectations for more employment increased by four percent from 69 percent to 73 percent this year.
