Snackable Produce Popular with Consumers

According to Nielsen, snackable fruits and vegetables accounted for $16.3 billion in the year ending in May 2017. To keep up with growing sales, manufacturers and retailers have introduced 600 new items with individual servings of fresh cut fruit, with and without additional items.

Nielsen recommends that retailers and manufacturers offer a variety of healthy snacking options to consumers and keep up with produce and snacking trends.
